Refund Policy

The short version
Not happy with a bag? Email us within 14 days of delivery and we will send a replacement or issue a refund — your choice.
How to request a refund or replacement
Email hello@originpour.co within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue (damaged, stale, wrong product, etc.)
- A photo if the problem is visible (optional but helpful)
We aim to respond within one business day. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Replacements ship as soon as we can arrange with the supplier — typically within a week.
What we cover
- Coffee that arrives damaged or stale.
- The wrong product delivered.
- Shipments lost in transit, after a carrier tracking investigation.
What we do not cover
- Subjective preference (e.g., "too bright" or "too dark"). We will match you better next shipment, but not via refund.
- Requests made more than 14 days after delivery, except where required by provincial consumer-protection law.
- Products that arrive outside the 14-day window due to delayed customer pickup at a locker, post office, or building mailroom.
Returns
You do not need to physically return the coffee in most cases. Our supplier network makes returns uneconomical, so we absorb the cost and handle replacement or refund without requiring the product back. If we ever ask you to return a product, we will cover the return shipping.
Subscription cancellations
You can cancel at any time through your account or by emailing us. Cancellation stops all future shipments immediately. It does not refund shipments already sent. If a charge has been made but we have not yet shipped, email us before the ship date and we will refund that cycle.
Gifts
If you received coffee as a gift and want a refund or replacement, email us with the order number or gift-giver's name. Refunds for gift orders are issued to the original purchaser.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under your province's consumer-protection legislation or under the federal Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act.
