Terms of Service
Last updated: April 17, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of originpour.co (the "Site") and the products and services offered through it ("Services"), including our coffee subscription. Origin Pour is operated as a sole proprietorship by Lloyd. By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be the age of majority in your province (18 or 19) and able to form a binding contract under Canadian law.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access.
3. Orders and acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion — including for pricing errors, supply issues, suspected fraud, or violation of these Terms. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund any charges.
4. Pricing, currency, and taxes
Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes — GST, HST, QST, or PST where required — are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. We may update prices at any time. For recurring subscriptions we lock your price at signup and give at least 30 days' advance email notice before any change to a recurring price.
5. Payment
Payment is due at purchase, or for subscriptions on each ship date. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge it for each order and recurring shipment.
6. Subscriptions
Our coffee subscription renews automatically at the frequency you choose (every 2, 4, or 8 weeks). You can pause, skip, or cancel at any time — see our Subscription Policy. Cancellation stops all future shipments but does not refund shipments already sent.
7. Shipping and delivery
See our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss and title pass to you on delivery.
8. Returns and refunds
See our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under your province's consumer-protection legislation.
9. Fulfillment partners
Some products sold on the Site are fulfilled directly to you by third-party suppliers. In all cases Origin Pour remains your point of contact for customer service, returns, and refunds — you never need to deal with a supplier yourself.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, photos, logos, designs, code — is owned by Origin Pour or our licensors and is protected by Canadian and international law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially use our content without prior written permission.
11. User content
If you submit reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with the Services. You represent that you own the content and it does not violate any third-party rights.
12. Prohibited uses
- Using the Services for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempting unauthorized access to any part of the Services.
- Interfering with the Services (e.g., denial-of-service attacks, high-volume scraping).
- Reselling our products without authorization.
- Misrepresenting your identity.
13. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, except where warranties cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Origin Pour will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Canadian law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Origin Pour harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta for any dispute not resolved informally.
17. Language
The parties confirm that these Terms and all related documents be drawn up in English. Les parties confirment leur volonté que la présente convention ainsi que tous les documents qui s'y rattachent soient rédigés en anglais.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted. Your continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
